Hike on the serpentine ridge on the new Froom Creek Trail.

Meet: Trailhead at the southern end of Madonna Road, City of SLO

Trip: Trails are well maintained. Expect to see Chorro Creek Bog Thistle and other serpentine endemic plants. We will search for Bird’s Beak, unusual dudleyas and calochortus.

Details: The trail is steep in places so stout footwear is recommended, and we will climb several hundred feet. Expect a hike of 2-3 hours and several miles in length.
