Miossi Open Space
Join us for a hike to Miossi Open Space exploring the back hills of San Luis Obispo on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. This outing will be 3.5 miles in length with a gradual 750 ft. elevation gain. Meet at the trailhead along Old Stage Coach Road off Highway 101 (35.318623, -120.621858). At the end of the hike as we return to the trailhead, Brian Metcalf, SLO oak ambassador, will lead us in an oak transplanting project.

Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, sturdy shoes, and dress in layers for changing weather. Bring gloves for the oak transplanting. There are no bathroom facilities along the hike route.
