A KEYING WORKSHOP ON FERNS will be held 6 to 7pm before the membership meeting. Facilitated by Dena Grossenbacher, in this free keying workshop you will learn about key characteristics to identify fern species and practice keying locally collected ferns. The Vascular Plants of San Luis Obispo County (Keil) will be our guide. Participants should bring their own hand lens, headlamp and dissection tools. Copies of the relevant key and extra tools will be provided. These keying workshops have been very popular so we encourage you to arrive early.
