Have you ever thought about removing a lawn and planting a native garden in its place but never quite knew where to start?
On Saturday, June 21st at 3:00 pm, the California Native Plant Society – San Luis Obispo Chapter and the Natural History Museum of Santa Maria will be offering a presentation about removing lawns and going native. The presentation will offer step-by-step instructions for how to remove a lawn followed by information on some wonderful California native plants for your new garden space.
The presentation will include a list of recommended California native plants for the garden, some brief information about local rebates for lawn removal, and a question-and-answer period at the end. Free to all and no reservation is required.
