Hundreds of bouquets of local wildflowers will return for the 15th Annual Cambria Wildflower Show on Saturday, April 29th from noon to 5pm and Sunday, April 30 from 10am to 4 pm. After a 3-year break caused by the Covid pandemic, the Friends of Fiscalini Ranch Preserve are happy to bring this spring festival back with over 600 types of local native wildflowers labeled with their popular common names and botanical names. The fresh flower and leaf samples are carefully collected with permission, arranged by plant families for handy comparision, and displayed on tables for close-up viewing. This is a great single location to learn new plants and recall names you have forgotten. Plant experts will be present to help you with questions and curious plant information. You can take a break and enjoy snacks and goodies at The Wildflower Café in the building. The California Native Plant Society and other vendors will have tables with a wonderful assortment of wildflower and garden books, handouts, and other botanically-themed merchandise for sale.
